If you’ve ever played a woodwind instrument, you’ve experienced that dangerous area known as “the break.” It’s the transition point between registers and is prone to nasty squeakage and odd sounding little blips. The more you practice, the easier it is to make the break seem smooth and effortless.
I’m transitioning from school, college, and home to a world of jobs, bills, and adventures, all the while trying my best to avoid all the squeaks and blips that go along with change.
google reader.. add.. I miss you! Nice to see you blogging again. You always make me laugh.
Oh, and even though you have this explained all nicely here, I still read the “this is squeak territory” at the top, and think of a dangerous safari through a land of rabid hamsters and gerbils.
“We can’t stop here… this is squeak country.”
